The 21st Annual “Light the Night” Gala Auction to benefit Whatcom Hospice will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021. Last year more than 430 community members participated in the 20th Anniversary Light the Night Auction, our first auction held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our generous community contributed $314,000 to support excellence in end-of-life care, Thank you!
To ensure the safety of our guests, we are once again planning for a virtual event. The event will feature both live and silent auctions! We hope you consider joining us on November 13, 2021 as we Light the Night, once again, in honor of Whatcom Hospice.
Event Features Include:
NOV 8-13 An exciting silent auction with something for everyone!
NOV 13 Live auction featuring local and destination vacation & experiences, wine experiences, fine art and more! The livestream begins at 6:30pm
NOV 8-12 A virtual dessert dash!
Net Proceeds from the event enable Whatcom Hospice to offer services to patients and families above and beyond those that are reimbursed by Medicare and other insurers.
Donations provide:
- Room and board assistance for the 12-bed Hospice House
- Uncompensated care
- Complimentary therapies including acupuncture and massage
- Patient and family education Patient and family assistance
- Bereavement resources
- Staff development
- Volunteer training
- Community education
