The 2022 Light the Night Under the Sea Gala Auction will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Four Points by Sheraton in Bellingham, WA. The event will feature both live and silent auctions, a dessert dash, and an eventful program hosted by longtime Hospice friends, Gaye Godfrey, and Dave Walker.

More than 420 community members participated in the last year’s virtual 2021 Light the Night in the Secret Garden Gala Auction. Our generous community contributed $393,000 to support excellence in end-of-life care. It was truly a memorable and impactful event in support of the Whatcom Hospice program. Your support helps Whatcom Hospice caregivers continue to provide compassionate care for our family, friends and neighbors when they need it most.

Donations provide:

• Room and board assistance for the 12-bed Hospice House
• Uncompensated care
• Complimentary therapies including acupuncture and massage
• Patient and family education
• Patient and family assistance
• Bereavement resources
• Staff development
• Volunteer training
• Community education
